This year’s Green Energy Fair will take place in combination with the Energy Day Festival 2011 in downtown Houston from 1-5 pm. Interact with installers as you learn about the latest in solar technology while enjoying light refreshments, music and interactive exhibits of all types.

BUS TOUR REGISTRATION

A FREE Bus Tour is offered to the public and leaves from Tranquility Park at 9 a.m. It ends with guests being dropped off right at the Green Energy Fair activities. RSVP HERE. Registration the day of the event starts at 8 a.m. PLEASE NOTE, seating is limited so please considering your registration seriously before signing up. We will hold seats up until 8:40 am. People are encouraged to come to registration and carpool with other interested parties.

A National Event

The ASES Houston Solar Tour is part of the American Solar Energy Society’s (ASES) National Solar Tour event, “the largest grassroots solar event in history.” More than 160,000 participants will visit some 5,500 buildings in 3,200 communities across the U.S. on tour day.  Please be sure to sign up at the Solar Social or at a tour site so we can keep track of how many people attend the 2011 Houston Tour.
