Since its inception in 2004, the Houston Solar Tour has been one of the best ways for Houstonians to see buildings with solar power and energy efficiency strategies. It has quickly become an influential force in the Greater Houston area, dedicated to increasing awareness, education and utilization of solar energy. Sponsors are essential in making the ASES Houston Solar Tour a huge success.

The ASES Houston Solar Tour recognizes that businesses may want to contribute in different ways so we offer a range of sponsorship options. From in-kind services, to monetary funding of the tour to purchasing a booth space at the Solar Social, you and your business can make a huge difference to your industry, the Houston community and your country.

HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE

Kilowatt

Kilowatt sponsors will receive recognition as a “Friend of HREG” in the full-color Tour Guide and on the web site with contact information and a web link.  [Kilowatt Hour sponsor - donate 10 hours of time to the tour preparation in lieu of a monetary donation.]

Megawatt

Megawatt sponsors will receive recognition in the full-color Tour Guide and web site as well as their LOGO (1/2” x 2”) as the web link.  Megawatt sponsors also get a table at the Green Energy Fair.

Gigawatt

Gigawatt sponsors receive recognition in the full-color Tour Guide and web site including their LOGO (1/2” x 2”) as a web link.  Sponsors can also have a table at the Green Energy Fair (or home site sponsor), AND a 1/8 page advertisement in the Tour Guide.

Terawatt

Terawatt sponsors receive recognition with a 1/4 page advertisement in the full-color Tour Guide, plus recognition in the credits and a rotating ad on the front page of the web site. They also receive a sponsor table at the Green Energy Fair (or home site).

Zettawatt

Zettawatt sponsors receive recognition as a 1/2 page advertisement in the full-color Tour Guide, plus recognition in the credits and a rotating ad on the front page of the web site. They also receive a sponsor table at the Green Energy Fair (or home site).

Sun Sponsor

Sun sponsors receive a full page advertisement in the Tour Guide inside the front or back page, along with highly visible recognition on the web site and printed marketing materials.  They are also entitled to a table at the Green Energy Fair or home site of their choice.

Advertising only

You or your company can help support the tour, while also advertising your product or service by purchasing an advertisement in the full color Tour Guide. Advertisements are available in sizes ranging from 1/8 of a page to a full page. Premium locations may also be purchases, and include inside the front page, inside the back page, and the back cover.
