Buses

We offer 4 bus routes, depending on what your interests are

You must buy or reserve a ticket to ride the bus.   Buses leave from Hermann Square, City Hall, downtown at 8:45.  Please arrive by 8:30 to allow for time to check in.  Buses will return approximately 1:30.

Parking is available underground at Tranquility Park.  The entrance is off of Rusk Street between Bagby and Smith.  (Look for Theater District Parking Lot 2).  There is a small fee for parking here.   Buses will be loading at or near  Smith and Walker Street.   Look for the HREG table to sign in.

The bus routes

1. Route 1 is continuing education for AIA/USGBC (4 credits).
2. Route 2 is continuing education for AIA/USGBC (4 credits).
3. Route 3 is open to the general public. Save gas and talk to like minded tour takers.
4. Route 4 is for students and teachers. Ride the bus at our expense. Learn more about renewable energy with the Houston Solar Tour!
